The second part of the seventh series of the Japanese anime about a boy who battles ghosts. Ichigo Kurosaki (voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch) is a teenager whose life changes forever the day he and his two sisters are attacked by an evil spirit. The lives of the three are saved by the arrival of a Shinigami, a figure trusted with dispatching troubling ghosts to the heavens, but when the Shinigami is mortally wounded in the fight it has no option but to transfer its powers to Ichigo. With great power comes great responsibility and Ichigo immediately begins his training as a Shinigami and prepares to do battle with evil spirits. This volume includes episodes 142-151.
