Run of the millBy TimmyH (256 reviews) from Burnham-on-Crouch , 20 May 2011
[Highly rated reviewer]There's a cop killer out on the streets of London and he's a fruit cake and its up to Brant (Statham) (No holds barred copper) and Nash (Considine) (By the book gay copper) to find him, whilst a journalist (Morrissey) tries to get vital information on the killer from another source. Statham plays his usual macho role with the occasional good one liner thrown in but obviously obtains his acting skills from Phil Mitchell. Quite gritty but script is rather poor with some side distractions which have nothing to do with the killer and just a 'filler'.

Vigilante Cop Thriller RubbishBy a customer , 03 Jan 2013Whilst I love watching hoodies, muggers and scumbags in general taking a well deserved shoeing I could only stand 15 minutes of this bilge. What a waste of talent! What were this group of great British film, stage and TV actors and directors doing in it? That's a rhetorical question by the way. To enjoy such films we suspend our belief that vigilante and effective cops like the demented DS exist in the UK and can only dream of walking past the bodies of the criminal underclass clutching their gonads in agony in the gutter as we go to work in the morning. That said, why can't even the most sophisticated director/writer etc just get some basic facts right to underpin what would have been a great story, and film, if they just cared even a little bit.
Pile of BlitzBy a customer , 01 Jan 2013What a bad film. I feel tricked by other reviewers it is definitely NOT epic and the only thing I found gripping was whether I should press the off button on the remote control. A very formulaic, predictable film.
Statham Returns HomeBy stevenw05 (49 reviews) , 01 Jan 2013Having a break as the Hollywood Darling Jason returns home to a decent British Movie. Although predictable at times its a decent little film with Jason at his hard man best.
Statham on Home Soil!By RainbowGirl56 (10 reviews) from Worcester , 17 Dec 2012Great to see Statham performing on English soil. Fab film, very gritty and very real. Fantastic story and characters. Loved it!
Another great Jason Statham film!By MrCotter (11 reviews) , 06 Dec 2012Another great Jason Statham film. Recommended to all. Plenty of action, as in all of Jason's films. If you like this film then watch 'Safe'.
