In two parts, Blonde is about the years of Marylin Moonre and how her life changed from bad to worse. Her mother was a mental case, her father did a runner when she was little and her dreams of a actress was the only thing to keep her going. When she becomes known for her good looks and her blonde hair, men want her and women want to be her. But behind the scenes, she's plotting her own death as the men of her life just use her for either sex or drugs. Even her manger is a nasty piece of work! It's qutie sad for a young woman in those times to be subjected like trash, no wonder her death was a mystery but she must have comitted suicide as she was a very lonley and sad woman. The pefomances are very strong from Patrick Dempsey to the leading lady who played Moonre, qutie a few famous faces were there and played their parts well. If you are intrested in the star, rent this one out but be warned it can be very depressing at times so have a box of tissues at your side!
