Blood Monkey Details

Hilariously Bad.

Well, I randomly watched this movie on TV, and what a god awful piece of cr*p it is. It has bad acting, terrible effects, and practically no horror element at all. Basically 6 teenagers (including a stereotypical nerd, a stereotypical loud idiot jock, and a stereotypical moany rich girl) are sent on some random student trip to Africa or something. However a shifty scientist picks them up, and takes them on a nightmare trip through the jungle blah blah blah they all get killed by monkeys.

There are a few points i wish to highlight:

1. There is only one full shot of the monkey at the end, and its 3 seconds long.

2. There is no ending at all.

3. The kids are as thick as cream cheese.

4. In one scene a character gets 'stabbed' with completely blunt logs- this had me laughing.

5.The students got picked off in the exact order i predicted.

6. There is no background story at all - you dont know the kids, the scientist, why hes there, its hopeless.

Only rent this if you are suicidal.

Oscar worthy....

.....and by that I mean Alexioni's review, that had me laughing out loud !!

I was fortunate to only have watched the last 15 minutes on the TV and had summed up the plot in seconds. It's not even good hokum.

They must've paid F.Murray Abraham a lot of 'blood money' for it.
