No one really knows what happened at Lord Lucan's Belgravia home on the night of 7 November 1974. So, with the vanishing earl's whereabouts remaining a mystery to this day, screenwriter Julia Taylor-Stanley attempts to fit the pieces together in this plausible investigative fantasy. Chasing down witnesses and re-examining clues, the low-budget crime drama looks at the evidence for and against Lucan's possible responsibility for the murder of the family nanny. Yet, no matter how credible the conclusions it reaches, Brian Grant's film never quite manages to overcome its humble origins.
