    BloodPayne?

this film is based on the game series of the same name however unlike the games this film shouldn't really of been made, uwe boll with the unsuccess of his other films still continues to make them and this project was one of them. poor acting, bad effects and no plot this film should only be watched if ultimately bored and want a laugh at how poor it is......

    Good grief Kristanna

I'm surprised this took so long to be released onto DVD in the UK - I've had the English language version released in Thailand for a couple of years now (and a fraction of the price, even with postage, than any UK DVD release!). I originally got it because it headlined Kristanna Loken (who had played the bad terminator in Terminator 3) and didn't know anything about the game. As such, I had no prior expectations and I found the movie OK to watch, a bit slow in places but infinitely better than the BloodRayne II, also available on DVD. I can't comment on any extras - the Thai version comes in a nice presentation box and there are many extras on the disk.

Robert De Niro, a two-time Oscar winner and arguably one of the greatest actors of his or anyone else's generation, has topped a new poll of the most "shameless paycheque roles" of all time. The poll, by Entertainment Weekly, listed distinguished actors who took roles so awful that a hefty paycheque could be the only logical explanation for accepting them. De Niro, whose long list of credits includes Taxi Driver, The Untouchables, Goodfellas, Casino, Raging Bull, Awakenings and Meet... Read more
