A good and gritty movie. James Nesbitt gives another solid performance. You will be glad you weren't there after watching this one. Superb.

A truely shocking depition of a sad sad event in Irish history. The lies and propoganda that the British government perpetrated after the events and there for all to see and the later enquiry cast grave doubts on the official version of events. This film expertly recreates the confusion and shock during and after the massacre. Nesbit was inspired. It is time for prosecutions in a court of law and the medals given to the officers should be taken away. A sorry despicable stain on the history of the parachute regiment.

Live by the sword, die by the sword. Thousands of IRA victims blown up and shot. Not too many films dedicated to those poor people. Whilst a powerful film it misses the point. The individuals who died were no different to those cruelly murdered by the very people they wholeheartedly supported.

This film is just IRA propaganda. Full of lies and deception. The civil rights movement was not 'destroyed as falsely stated in this film. It disbanded voluntarily in in 1980's!

Excellent documentary like movie about a shocking period of British History. Hard to imagine that things like this happened...but just imagine the carnage if it had happened when we all had mobile phones.
