Blown Away - GREAT!By Cornetto (959 reviews) from Lancaster , 10 Apr 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]Jimmy Dove works for the bomb squad in Boston and he is always the one who is on the tough jobs. One day he decides to quit the force and to become a teacher for the rookies of the squad. A few days later his former partner is killed by a bomb and Jimmy becomes suspicious that maybe this bomb could have been built by a former friend of himself. He begins his own investigation. Great Action Adventure with thrilling scenes.

Blown AwayBy crisbet (3 reviews) from SS0 0ED , 24 Jul 2011Halliwell must have been out for a good drink as he must have seen a different movie to me. I'll not be believing anything he writes in the future.
I thought it was a very good film, it was well acted and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Blown AwayBy dolphie (49 reviews) from Sunderland , 19 Mar 2010I realy enjoyed this film, it was full of suspense right from start to finish, i would highly recomend this title.
Why I give it a five star?By Cyril (14 reviews) from Dundee, Scotland , 01 Jan 2010The reason I give it a five star is primarily because it's brilliant combination of superb action, edge of the seat thrill, fantastic photography, and perfect music including October Project (Return to Me), U2 (With or without you, I still haven't found what I am looking for), Joe Cocker (Take me home), and Alan Silvestri's brilliant opening of Prince's Day.
Remember this movie which collided with Keanu Reeve starer Speed at the box and went down in flames carrying with it most negative reviews. Still, I consider, my personal opinion, it is one of the best action movies with such excellent performances of Tommy Lee Jones, and Jeff Bridges and a surprisingly great directing from Stephen Hopkins.
