Controversial actress Asia Argento teams up with equally divisive director Olivier Assayas for the steamy thriller BOARDING GATE. Sandra (Argento) has left a life of prostitution behind, but her past catches up with her when former lover Miles Rennberg (Michael Madsen) returns. Their tryst doesn't turn out as either had imagined and Sandra is forced to escape to Hong Kong. But running away only makes matters worse, and before long, she finds herself in grave danger and cannot even trust her closest friends...

As always, it's easy to be dazzled by Mr. Assayas's camerawork....His use of Brian Eno here is particularly potent. Mr. Eno creates music that drifts around you, enveloping you in moods and waves of feeling...
