[Highly rated reviewer]Though essentially a fictionalised piece surrounding the hours up to the assassination of Robert F Kennedy, this is is a frustratingly bitty piece that, rather than making an important piece of modern history more interesting, is diluted by so many diverse stories, it loses your concentration and interest. You can see the intentions of the story were right, but it just never once takes off. One oddity that still springs to my mind - despite the USA having more heads of state assassinated than any other country in the world, at age 18 you can get a shotgun or rifle (not handgun) in the USA, but you can't drink until 21... Is this the wrong way round or is it me... let 'em get drunk at 18 - but not shoot anyone until they are over 21.. now that makes more sense.!
oh well.. rant over... back to the film, it is more or less like a US TV series and perhaps should have been, as a film it isn't too much, and not really worth 2 hours of your time to sit through.

Incredible! You will love it I'm sureBy drclaire (6 reviews) from Gloucester , 04 Sep 2010An absolutely wonderful film teaching about a bit of history I knew too little about. Seen through the eyes of an incredible ensemble of characters, it is dramatic, moving, funny and will make you cry!
EnthrallingBy a customer from Mansfield UK , 05 Jul 2010Filmed from so many different standpoints I was hard to follow initially, but when it got going I was fascinated. Before you know it its near the end and your hooked. Brilliant recommended
Enjoyed this more than I thought I would !By magpiedick (43 reviews) from Barnsley , 07 Apr 2010A good record of this historical happening. I didn't think I would take it as a good yarn, but was more than pleasantly surprised. Well acted & the right length of film to keep you interested.
Too many famous faces!By a customer from London , 05 Apr 2010Too many famous faces and not enough happening.
