Best TV drama in years
By Jim from London , 13 Dec 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
A wonderful dark, funny, intelligent, thought provoking series. One moment you're horrified, the next you're laughing. The script is flawless and the acting exceptional.
It is a total disgrace that this series wasn't continued. Instead the BBC churn out endless derivative detective mysteries and 'escape to the country' comedy dramas. No effort was made to publicise it and then they were surprised that it didn't rate. I only found it by chance and everyone I know who also discovered it was hooked and now raves about it.
You must WATCH THIS SERIES then write to the BBC to say how disgusted you are they stopped making it!- Was this review helpful to you?

My heart was in my mouth while watching this brillant drama series...
By blessedarethecheesemakers (7 reviews) from London , 12 May 2011Bodies is a breathtakingly unique, realistic and sometimes graphic drama series. The characters are subtly complex and the plots a very believable.
Bodies also has something to say...about the NHS, hospital politics and workplaces and people in general. It makes a point. And it does so in a spectacular way.
Max Beasley is really fantastic in the title role, as are Neve
Macintosh, Patrick Baladi and Keith Allen in their respective roles. I also think all of the supporting cast and extras are just as wonderful. Some of the scenes must have been terribly difficult to film and yet they are done to such a realistic standard - you believe it all!
I am continuously very surprised that few people seem to have watched Bodies when it was shown on tv. I would recommend it to anyone - is just an absolutely incredible series.- Was this review helpful to you?

The Flip side of Casualty
By dogdooda (52 reviews) from london , 01 Oct 2010I didn't see this when it was broadcast on the BBC, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. This drama certainly has weight but beware it does throw some of life's harsh realities straight in your face. If your a hypochondriac avoid like the plague and make sure you've paid-up with Bupa otherwise the thought of going into hospital will be a scary, scary thought. Who is Max Beasley? Is he still hanging out with Robbie Williams (poor choice Max)?- Was this review helpful to you?

Bodies - Series 1
By a customer from Kidlington , 02 Feb 2009Having not seen this the first time it came out on tv I didn't know what to expect. In series 1 you get introduced to the characters who are all brillant. There is a very strong cast and Keith Allen is absolutely superb as Head Honcho. Lots of blood and gore.- Was this review helpful to you?

This has not been bettered on British TV
By a customer from Hebden Bridge , 12 Jan 2009Superb casting, script, acting, editing, production values. Extraordinary birth and gynae footage, and above all gripping plots. Sometimes even too exciting were Rob's predicaments. I cannot recommend this series too highly. It is fabulous. I really missed a proper series 3...Shame on the Beeb.- Was this review helpful to you?
