Diesel-powered boiler burns outBy a customer from Leicester , 18 Apr 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]Boiler Room is a blistering film which manages to make phones n finance seem more exciting than guns n ammo. It also has a surprising amount of heart, particularly in the candid and heartfelt depiction of the main character's desperation to win his father's respect. My only gripe with Boiler Room is that the ending is overly abrupt and totally unsatisfying, which is why I'd give it 3 stars rather than 4.
By the way, Vin Diesel is mighty in this film. He should put away his muscles more often.

good film for those who like that kinda thingBy tominsptwo (73 reviews) from Wakefield , 23 Sep 2011I like this film for its story of a boy trying to win his dads love. its a good film with a great set of twists and turns, everyone plays a good role, the ending is a bit sudden and a bit odd in ways but it doesnt spoil the film
Get The F**k Up...Money Talks!By Brighouse1971 (155 reviews) from Brighouse, WY , 27 Aug 2010Whoa...a powerful drama with some real emotions and wonderfully performed action.
According to the disclaimer at the beginning of this feature, it clearly states that this is purely fiction.
Which by the current news casts, it certainly dont seem like it!
It feels so incredible real and the facts explained in this are so freaking astonishing.
Its just like the Oliver Stone movie WALL STREET with Michael Douglas...only set in this new Millennium.
Greed, Love, Betrayal, Friendship, Comradeship and Loyalty.
Not bad...By a customer from St. Albans , 10 Oct 2009I thought this was going to be better than it was, however that doesn't mean it wasn't good, it just had the potential to be better given the storyline and actors. Slick smart talk by Ben Affleck was the highlight of the film for me.
Brill !!By a customer from Wantage , 13 May 2009Great to see another side to Vin Diesel
Boiler RoomBy Buzzinko (61 reviews) from London, England , 04 Mar 2009Interesting film, despite very OTT salesy atmosphere and similar overbearing sales-motivating speeches that will make you cringe (hardly believable that anybody does that anymore) and greedy ego-trips it is a very watchable movie. Yet another warning how greed and lies can destroy lives.
