Barking madness...By PaulaWestwood (397 reviews) from Ashton-Under-Lyne , 19 Feb 2009
[Highly rated reviewer]Bolt is an all action screen superhero dog who believes the scripted on screen heorics he performs are real life, and he really is saving the little girl who owns him in each episode. Unfortunately the painful truth af his lack of real powers comes to light when outside the studio he believes his owner has been kidnapped, and embarks (em-BARKS - couldnt resist it !!!) on a cross country journey to rescue her. WQe watched this in 3D buth whether or not you do doesnt really mater as in any case this is superbly animated fun that has humour and interest for young and old alike, very entertaining.

Good Family FilmBy markmaz333 (102 reviews) , 30 Oct 2011Finding Nemo meets The Truman Show but with a dog as the main character. Really good film and plenty funny with the TV addicted hamster.
did fall flat this oneBy faith (139 reviews) from uk , 27 Oct 2011i think this film will get the same rating as the BBC UK's teletubbies only to be enjoyed by the under fives. just did not do anything for me, this film, and i love animations! if this film was anything like 'up' or 'walle' it would have got top ratings from me.
i think the makers of this movie just could not decide whether they wanted a fictional or real life dog for the character of Bolt.
it would have been better as the film dog and not cross the line into life outside the studio, that point destroyed all the good work in the first half of this movie. i was disappointed because i expected a lot more from it and it did not deliver.
