Most helpful review
really good telly

So a show about a forensic anthropologist working with an FBI agent to uncover the truth behind bones might sound a bit dull but OMG was I in for a shock. Kathy Reichs books are brought to life as Dr Temperance Brenning helps to solve murders by simply looking at bones and determining who they are, what they looked like, weapons used, etc. with the team of her squints and the lovely Agent Seeley Booth (who named these characters?!).
The science, technology and brilliant acting make this an intrepid programme that leads you wanting more as you discover more about the socially dysfunctional characters and just what amazing processes are used to uncover identities of victims (even from just a piece of tibia!). Best of all, the serial killer Howard Ebbs, who is on the same intellectual par as Dr Brenning, makes a few appearences keeping the team on their toes and suspense high.
Basically John Doe (remember that?) meets 3lbs and CSI = unmissable.- Was this review helpful to you?

(113)Entertaining idea with great character chemistry
By RussnEmma (387 reviews) from London, England , 08 Jul 2012Really enjoyed the first season, have yet to watch the others but hope they're as good as this first is.
Each week you get to see a little more of the main characters and how they interact with each other. Despite each episode having it's own story, there is development between the characters that makes you want to keep watching.
Anyone who enjoys crime shows with a little sarcasm and comedy thrown in will love this!- Was this review helpful to you?

Well worth watching!
By shockfire (2 reviews) , 13 Sep 2011Added Bones to my rental list because my girlfriend asked me to. I was expecting it to be a 'typical' US crime drama, but turns out that Bones is actually pretty good! We've now seen the entire series 1, and I really enjoyed it, some really good story lines and awesomely gruesome scenes. It's a nice mash up between science and crime, and a great twist that Bones and Agent Booth are very different people doing very different jobs. Looking forward to renting series 2 in the near future.- Was this review helpful to you?
