    What a superb game.

The games story line gives it alot to be desired, with the aim to find a hidden vault which will unearth riches/fame/power etc. If you are the type of person that needs a great story line, then this may not be the game for you. Though in my opinion, the game play far outstrips the need for a fully involved story line, with the player being submerged within game play after a short opening sequence.

If you love a good game in which you can level your own character to how you want to, follow 30 fun filled missions with 120 side quests either solo/split screen or through xbox live with up to four friends then that option is open to you. You can go off tangent if you want to, building your character away from any quests, finding unique weapon's, which run in to the thousands of thousands.

Choose between 4 very different characters each with their own personal skills and preferences. For example, the Hunter's weapon preference is a sniper and revolvers, and has the special ability of having his bird of prey 'Bloodwing' to help him in his gun fights.

Believe me you won't be dissapointed with this game. For me, this game is one of the best games I have played in along time, which is rare. I would recommend it to anybody.

All of the negative reviews I have seen for this game, claim 'the monsters are too hard to kill', well this is simple, you didn't take time to explore and train, but rather run into the higher level area's straight away and got hammered.

To get the best experience from this game, grab a friend or two, start together, explore, kill and do every mission that you find, I guarantee anyone who does this, will not find themselves unloading 150 shotgun bullets to kill a small enemy.

Further to this, the storyline is fun and keeps you wanting to go for the final goal, the gameplay is intense and at times the bosses really put you to the test if your un prepared.

Buyit/Rent it , this game was a wonder, and should be given the time to really get into it.

    (P. S - 'Cheap Fallout' this comment excels in ignorance, as this game has no similarities in style.)

  • Outshines all other FPS. Fun, diverse, revolutionary.

Rented this game simply because me and my friend wanted a co-op game.

But oh...my...god. Both me and my friend have now bought this game NEW. Going to buy the DLC's shortly to.

The campaign. Well the campaign creeps in and out of gameplay, and doesn't play a big part in the gameplay until the ending missions. That fact doesn't make the story and side-quests any less enjoyable. Infact playing this game (looking only at the quests) has been one of the most fulfilling experiences in my gaming life.

Gameplay. Leveling up system is slow, anything higher than your level owns you. Grinding is a waste of time. BUT all of these things are designed to get you to quest. Questing itself is enjoyable. It takes grinding and typical questing stereotypes and mashes them together.

The game handles really well. The guns put to shame other games, as do the items in general. NPC (excluding Claptrap) are diverse, and although the enemies tend to be constant variations of around 6 different species...I actually never once got bored of fighting them.

Replay value. Complete the game once, play it through again with a friend and a different character, spend hours joining low level players worlds and causing havok/helping them, Duel for the lols, complete enjoyable achievements, muck about etc the replay is up there with GTA-san andreas.

Better than Fallout. I want to like Fallout. But travelling anywhere is a chore. The game is unexciting, graphically good but let down by extremely unrealistic gameplay. Quests are boring. Storyline takes so long to unravel you lose enthusiasm for it.

Basically Fallout is the opposiite of Borderlands in terms of gameplay. Graphically Fallout wins. Fallout could compete with Borderlands only if 2-player and co-op was introduced...until then...play Borderlands to get everything Fallout has, but so much more.

10/10. It hasnt dated a bit so go out and get it now, before the second one comes out ;)
