A magical family film, and a true story
a lovely film, which still works its charms after all this time - based on a completely true story - the raising of Elsa the orphan lioness cub, and the attempt to return her to the wild- Africa is the other star, with the landscape and the people portrayed in the warmest light, and the film is both funny and poignant. One for any family.

Born Free
A wonderful story. Must admit it had me in tears at times it was so touching to see this lovely animal and learn about its life. I was sorry when I had placed the DVD in the returns envelope and sealed it up. Felt I wanted to watch it again
