    The Right Formula

More of the same. Not sophisticated but hilarious. Mayall and Edmunsdon work even more naturally together in this series. Shame it was the last one.

    Customer Review

I can't help thinking that Bottom gets overlooked too often when so-called 'classic' sitcoms are mentioned. Normally you just hear of 'Only Fools and Horses', 'Porridge', 'Blackadder', 'Fawlty Towers' and a few others, but I can't be alone in thinking that Bottom ranks up amongst the best.

Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson are sensational in all three series, and the fact that the whole show is basically a two-hander makes it that much more impressive. I think they too are criminally underrated, and a huge part of the phenomenom that is 'The Young Ones'.

Series 3 contains the infamous 'the one where they're stuck on a Ferris Wheel' episode, which I still think is one of the funniest as I enjoy watching enclosed space episodes of sitcoms (One Foot In The Grave did that one where they're stuck in the traffic jam). It takes guts - and strong material, and great actors - for a sitcom to do this kind of episode, and Bottom pulls it off well.

How easy it is to forget

Having not seen these two clowns for a while it is easy to forget just how funny they are. Rent it and laugh at mindless violence instead of worrying about it.

    Best epsiodes ever

Yet again this show delivers fun and laughter by the bucket full and contains some of the best lines of a comedy programme ever. I would highly recommend this to everyone and I would give it five stars everytime. Simply the best show on TV and I'm just said that this was the last series made I wish they would bring it back.
