Boxing Greats
By The G from Bristol, England , 16 Dec 2003[Highly rated reviewer]
This DVD brought back many memories.....
Most of all when Nigel Ben turns a certain defeat into a great win against Gerald MacLelan, Or the round 1st between Hearns & Hagler?
What about Foreman beating the cr*p out of Frasier, now that was a devastating sight!!
Tyson, Ali, Leonard, Robinson, Dempsey, Marciano, Spinks, Ahmed.........They're all here. Fantastic viewing! Get it simply because Boxing doesn't seem to exist now-a-these-dayz!!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Doesn't pack a big punch
By DevonBoy from Devon , 21 Jun 2005Thought this was okay, my only two complaints would be that there's a lot of old footage of boxing bouts and Ian Darke is possibly even more wooden than Hayden Christensen (I didn't think it was possible either!)
They have clearly trudged through loads of footage hence the plethora of old b&w fights, but i'm not sure how you could compile a top 10 and omit Chris Eubank!
Overall this is okay, few too many old bouts for my liking and more about the presenters opinion than necessarily the common census, guaranteed to get boxing fans talking though and historically quite interesting.- Was this review helpful to you?
