good stuff
By bluebeloved (22 reviews) from London , 24 Jan 2008[Highly rated reviewer]
So many gay films fail to engage the viewer by lacking any complex believable characters - this film avoids such cliches and draws you in to care about what happens even though the protagonist is pretty self centred. There are enough twists and turns to keep you watching and the script is fresh. The main guy is certainly major league attractive which always helps as he is rarely out of shot! Just one small thing , his frequently monotone voice did grate a little and does nothing to assist in communicating emotional depth! That said, this is one of the best gay films I have seen in some time.- Was this review helpful to you?

(29)A waste of time
By a customer , 14 May 2013I rented this movie because I watched Patrick Bauchau (Bridgette Bardot's brother in law) in another movie and he was hot but that movie was from 1994. Now he is quite old and have a small part in this movie that has the weakest plot I ever seen. Nothing positive or interesting about it, even the picture quality is not vey good (this is a very low budget movie).- Was this review helpful to you?

Not In Front Of The Beaver !!!
By a customer , 14 May 2012Great acting, touching, good-looking, sexy, smart, thoughtful, witty, romantic and sexy all in one.
Good one-liners, such as:
'Forgive me Father, I'm guilty of the deadliest sin.....
I'm human.....
How many Hail Marys is that?'
I loved it !!!- Was this review helpful to you?

A must see
By a customer from glasgow , 29 Jul 2010This was great I would describe it as the gay version of Bridget Jones diary
The characters are so real & not too mention very hot a must see for any gay man.
I watched this as soon as it arrived as the trailer made it look very good full of sexy guys & raunchy seines & even though it wasnt as raunchy as I was expecting I still loved it.- Was this review helpful to you?

This film thinks its more arty and interesting then it is sadly...
By Daz from Hertfordshire, England , 17 May 2010This film has some new and gripping ideas in it but the whole love story seems a bit odd. Two guys seem to fall inlove even though they don't seem to know each other very well. Then they seem to fall out over nothing and it's just generally an odd film. I wasn't bored when I watched it but after it's finished and you look back on it you kinda think....erm what was the point...- Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent, one to watch
By ABSomerset (1 review) from Yeovil, Somerset , 18 Apr 2010Most gay films are rubbish to be honest and I can never get into them, but this one got me hooked right from the start and I did not want it to end. Loved the characters, the story was believable and the film had some depth to it. With some ups & downs, laughter and love, definitely one to watch for sure. Without sounding mushy it gave me a good feeling inside. It will be a film I will add to my the DVD library.- Was this review helpful to you?
