i went to see this film mainly because one of my girlfriends was visiting and i knew she likes this type of chick flick but i was a bit worried after reading dire reviews....instead i was pleasantly surprised! dont expect to see it nominated for any oscars but as girls flicks go this was really funny and entertaining - the ways these two use to try and ruin each other's wedding are really inventive and hilarious. i found both main characters engaging and likeable. apart from the ending which left me a bit disappointed (wont spoil it!) i thought this is a perfect film for a girly aftrenoon or girly night in with wine and chocs - stereotypical image i know but those are fun things and so is this film :) just dont bring your boyfriend with you as they will positively hate it- Was this review helpful to you?

I couldn't get the star rating down low enough....

This has to be one of the most inane, vacuous movies I've ever had to sit through. Hammy, over-the-top acting, an utterly pointless story of tedious predictability and not a moment that made me empathise once with the characters. I basically spent the interminable running time in a slackjawed trance praying for it to end.
But there is one thing about this movie that redeems it - if you put a nicy shiny label over the DVD it makes pretty good coaster for the coffee table. But even that won't get my rating up.- Was this review helpful to you?
