Bridget Jones's Review
By imran (165 reviews) from London , 30 Aug 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
A super comedy flick with an excellent British cast complementing Renee Zellweger in the title role. She really pulls off a great British accent and the film is both funny and touching in equal measures. The only thing is Bridget Jones is clearly sexy, smart and funny in this film (not sure about the book) so personally I found it difficult to see her as a lonely singleton, but that is really a minor in this cracking comedy.- Was this review helpful to you?

(177)Wonderful feel good film
By a customer , 26 Jan 2013Love this film, what a cast. If you liked The Holiday or 3 weddings, you will love this too. Go on, try it you might love it. (Just a shame this disc was damaged, yet another)- Was this review helpful to you?

Embarrassingly awful
By a customer , 28 Dec 2012I expected this to be light, fun, silly; I wasn't looking for serious cinema. But it was truly, wincingly terrible -- so caricaturishly overdone in every way, so downright stupid, that I couldn't continue watching it.- Was this review helpful to you?

By Malaprop (6 reviews) from Bolton England , 24 Nov 2011Quite a comedy. Funny about the colours. Would definitely recommend it. Had us in stitches in places and provoked much talk about it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Enjoyable, well worth a viewing!
By LE94 (2 reviews) from UK , 09 Aug 2011Very funny, can be a tad boring at times, but on the whole a very good, enjoyable, feel-good movie. Bridget Jones will have you cringing, laughing and crying (for the more sensitive viewers!). This movie reflects on real life, which at times is over-exaggerated, but this is what makes Bridget Jones so great! Well worth a watch!- Was this review helpful to you?
