Bridget Jones's Review
By imran (165 reviews) from London , 30 Aug 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
A super comedy flick with an excellent British cast complementing Renee Zellweger in the title role. She really pulls off a great British accent and the film is both funny and touching in equal measures. The only thing is Bridget Jones is clearly sexy, smart and funny in this film (not sure about the book) so personally I found it difficult to see her as a lonely singleton, but that is really a minor in this cracking comedy.- Was this review helpful to you?

Bridget is a delight
By a customer from Leeds, West Yorks , 15 Apr 2005I had already seen this when it first came out, but it definitely bears a second screening. Rene Zellweger is perfect in the part, and her British accent doesn't for one moment slip. Of course, it's a take on 'Pride and Prejudice' but none the worse for that. A cracking good evening's entertainment with some good laughs.- Was this review helpful to you?

Top chick flick
By Weezie from Surrey , 03 Apr 2005I watched this having seen it at the cinema and loved it all over again. I think it's better than the second BJ. It was a night alone for me, relaxing over my dinner and indulging in the Colin and Hugh fest. It held my attention for the whole time, gave loads of giggles and plenty of 'been-there-done-that's!
Love it.- Was this review helpful to you?
