Bridget Jones is back - Renee Zellweger has signed on to appear in a third film about the hapless diary-keeper. The first film in 2001 grossed £188 million worldwide, while the 2004 sequel, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, raked in £175 million. Bridget Jones's Diary author Helen Fielding is single again after separating from her longtime partner, according to a new report. The writer has parted ways with The Simpsons scriptwriter Kevin Curran, her partner of 10 years and the father of her two children, reports the Daily Express newspaper. Hit movie Bridget Jones's Diary is to be made into a musical. The 2001 film, starring Renee Zellweger, grossed £188 million worldwide, while the 2004 sequel, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, raked in £175 million. And the writer of the original novels, Helen Fielding, is hoping to cash in further on the franchise with an all-singing all-dancing stage production.
