Most disappointing; this film is absolute drivel.

Although presumably written and produced with a US audience in mind, I have to wonder whether any of the writers or actors involved had actually ever visited Scotland. Some of the costumes was more reminiscent of the Bay City Rollers' than of any genuinely Scottish attire, the hairstyles were more Hollywood than Highlands, and the backdrops and stagesets over-romanticised!

I found the whole experience cringeworthy, and largely content-free - both in terms of story line and music.

No - this is definitely one to miss.
