    [Highly rated reviewer]

this dvd is superb. Kirsten Dunst plays Torrance Shipman, the new head cheerleader for the Toros, who discovers that all the routines that they have been using to win their National Cheerleading Championships, have been stolen from another school, the East Compton Clovers, who are led by Gabrielle Union as Isis.

We have to watch to see which cheerleading team is really number 1. Meanwhile, Torrance is accused of getting too lovey dovey with Cliff Patone (played by Jesse Bradford!), the new smart kid in school, whose sister Missy (played by Eliza Dushku) joins the squad, because there is no gymnastics team.

But in the end it comes down to the final round at the Nationals, as the two squads try to out do one another, in what is essentially a recruiting film for high school cheerleading.

    well worth watching.

Not bad. When a girl is made the new captain of her school cheerleaders she needs to bring them to victory at the competition. Not a bad film, very enjoyable, typical high school drama would reccomend to young teenage girls

A typical high school teenage movie.

It is enjoyable, it is what I would call empty viewing, just something to get lost in without having to think. Some really funny bits.

Kirsten Dunst it actually pretty good and I think carries the movie.

So if you feel like putting on your pom poms for an enjoyable family film then bring it on...

Excellent feel good film. Decent storyline and script. Superb acting from many of the cast. (Eliza Dushku is brilliant.) Perhaps a chick-flick but not a rom-com. Have watched several times since my teens and still enjoy it. Would recommend.
