This is a great dvd for anyone interested in nostalgia not just railways. It took me back to a gentler time when our railwaymen were courteous and proud to be part of British Rail.

An interesting behind the scenes look!

I wasn't sure what to expect when this disc arrived, I had simply ordered all the BTF discs as I have one or two myself and have enjoyed the archive films.

I received this second, after watching disc 1 and found it more interesting.

This disc is less about the actual railway but more about the transportation areas that support it.

I particularly enjoyed 'Care of St. Christophers' which is about the home for children who cannot be properly looked after but who's parents work for the railway.

If you are looking for the specifics about care and maintainence of the railway this disc is not for you. You need to watch disc one.

If you are looking to view the travelogue films such as 'Scotland for Sport' where it shows you all the different sports you can do in Scotland or 'Channel Islands' where it tells you a little bit about the history of the Channel Islands and what you can do there, then disc two is for you.
