    Brittas rebuilt

Brittas had been sent to a Swiss clinic to be 'rebuilt'. The sauna/solarium has been privatised, and a new girl, Penny, is in charge of it. (This to replace Laura who has gone off to America with Michael). Helen escapes from the clinic and Carole is back on reception after being dumped by Herr Von Trapp.

Brittas conducts a number of seminars for the staff including body language. Helen has accidentally sold the house and tries to move her furniture into the centre without Brittas noticing.

Peace and Hunger Week at Whitbury however Tim finds out he is paid less than others, and plans revenge.

Brittas organises a series of walks around the centre and discovers that pedestrians have a public right-of-way through land. A meditation guru is called in.

Brittas arranges for a dolphin to be delivered to the centre, so people can swim with it but Linda plans a protest.

Overall this series is not as good as previous ones, partly down to Laura not being in it and the story outlines with Helen are somewhat far-fetched. The series does have its good points due to the actors involved and still is a must for all Brittas Fans. There are extras in this DVD ? about 8 minutes worth outtakes from series 4 on the first disk. Look out for Chris Barrie?s impressions.

    starting to lose it?

i love the brittas empire series, all of them. however, from this series onwards they have lost one of thier 2 writers and one of the main characters. i personally think this is the beginning of the end as something is clearly missing and isn't as funny as the previous 5 series. Still better than most comedies though!
