An object lesson in how to make violence aesthetically interesting, but it is a pity the director cannot do the same with the plot or the characters; the narrative is implausible and the people little more than automatons equipped with a couple of vaguely

If you want intelligence it is not here! If you want good old put your feet up feed me some action and a few thrills this is the one for you. In my opinion one of JVs first iconic bad man performances, which gets even better in 'Swordfish'. CS gives a reasonable performance and Mathis provides some nice eye candy.... I liked the pace of this thriller and it provides a few twists and turns along the way.
Brilliant film!!! Travolta is a great actor, wonderul narative and great action sequences, a typical John Woo film.
This is a story about two friends who are B12 Stealth Bomber pilots in the United States Air Force, Riley Hale (Christian Slater) and Vic Deakins (John Travolta) are very competitive and this is the backbone for most of the movie. When on a routine flight with a payload of 2 Nukes a grim plot emmerges that will lead Hale on a action packed journey to try and overcome his former friend.
Although this movie follows a predictably Hollywood formula, it's hugely enjoyable. And it holds the record for the most helicopters destroyed in a single film!

Broken Arrow is a movie that is less the sum of it's parts - those parts being J. Travolta and C. Slater who both give it all they've got but unfortunately it isn't enough to suspend any credibility at all where the plot is concerned. If one can call it a plot. An odd assortment of jerky scenarios welded together with much gung hoing and macho acting.
If it's raining and it's Sunday and you've absolutely run out of things to do then this movie will certainly fill a spot. It's OK but that's about it.

Brilliant, exciting worth watching.
The Travolta & Slater double act make this a very enjoyable action film with a good plot-line.
Poor story line. I don't know whether too much had been left on the cutting-room floor, or it was just poor from the start, but I give it 2 stars for John Travolta' cheek.
Great action packed movie... but with Travolta in the hot seat what can go wrong?
Great twist to the plot.. highly recommended

This movie was an eye-opener for me when I first saw it. The first time I saw John Travolta play the bad guy. Of couse it has since become something of the norm. The film doesn't have the srongest plot in the world 'bad guy steals nuclear device and wants lots of money not to go BOOM!' However, don't let that put you off - it is worth a couple of hours of your time?
This isn't one of the greatest films, but is enjoyable. You can certainly see the influence of John Woo coming through the film. It's great to see Travolta play a bad guy - liked him as much as in Swordfish. Even Christian Slater put in an Ok performance.
