Once more Almoldovar uses his favourite actress Penelope Cruz in this stunning film about film making, acting, blindness love romance and secrets long hidden. As with all Almodovar films we move from tragedy to comedy within the same take and colour is so important to him red yellow bright blue and orange are his signatures for happiness dark colours for threat and misery! Some of the plot seems a little improbable but it doesnt matter in the overall scenario of the film! Almodovar is also exploring sexuality in all its various guises! Wonderful throughout, dont miss this film!!
