UNDERRATED EASTWOOD MOVIE!

This is a pretty underrated movie in which Clint pokes fun at himself. He plays a sharpshooter 'the fastest gun alive' in a travelling Wild West show/circus in this very uplifting light comedy. Idolised by children and accompanying adults(!) everywhere,he encounters romance along the way via a runaway wealthy heiress (Sondra Locke) A poor little rich girl a.k.a. trouble!
Not typical Eastwood (but what WAS typical Eastwood at this time, what with movies like Every Which Way But Loose,The Gauntlet,Escape From Alcatraz, Honky Tonk Man,Pink Cadillac,The Outlaw Josey Wales, Firefox..et cetera..All TOTALLY FRESH and DIFFERENT from each other and NOT the typical stuff from the world`s top action movie star of the time!) a lot of tongue in cheek humour and quite charming and enjoyable..Worth a look!- Was this review helpful to you?
