    [Highly rated reviewer]

Don't read the review from Time Out as it is a review on a completely different film.

With this film I had never heard of it until it came up recommended to watch, and what a good recommendation it was. Without trying to give too much away at the start of the film you see a van with a bunch of 'Freshman' in driving around robbing petrol stations for the exact same amount in each station. But the final station on the list is the one where they have problems, mainly with the cashier. As it doesn't go according to plan the story follows the gang or Fraternity members through the night as they cope with whats happened and what they have to do to try and make things right. Very good acting from a few familar faces but others unknown. I wouldn't say there was a twist at the end but a shock and a surprise from someone you see earlier on in the film that you kind of forgot about that sums up the end of the film. Hope this review helps and hope you enjoy the film :-)

  • Infantile & unbelievable.

    Rated - 0.5 stars

I find it difficult to articulate how truly awful this film is. The whole premise relies on such a staggering suspension of disbelief as to be literally incredible. The characterizations are shallow, the acting ineptly relies on constant shouting in an attempt to conjure up a semblance of emotion & drama, the direction & cinematography are very sloppy, relying heavily on irritatingly shaky hand-held camera work.

The biggest flaw however is the script; a childish, incoherently written mess with an unbelievable premise, clumsily executed.

In all this film is quite an insult since, by presenting it as a genuine narrative work, it assume that its audience will have such a feeble intellect as to somehow miss the utter ineptitude it really is. I'm not sure if this is the worst film I've ever seen, but it's certainly the worst film I've seen this year.

  • A pleasantly unpleasant suprise

Looking for a little drama to raise the blood pressure enough to force me through a hangover, I chose this over the safety of the oft-watched 'Football Factory' or another foray into 'Rock 'n' Rolla'.

This is a simple premise with enough twists and turns to keep you interested. With very believable performances from most of the young cast, I found it refreshing not to recognise any of the key players - although not being a fan of sappy American teen movies / shows may account for this.

The film is pacy, concise and uncomfortable enough in content to have the viewer question themself - could I be brave enough to go against my friends?

'The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing' - witness the crystal-clear clarity of this statement in this short but rewarding movie.

  • 69 minutes of nonsense.

    Rated - 1.0 star

Yes that's right, this 'film' runs for 69 minutes. Many of the scenes are dragged out to reach that as well, and this would have been much better if it was made as a 45 minute featurette.

Don't get me wrong, the acting is okay and the story had the potential to make a great film - it's just so badly done. The script is painful and so much in the 'film' is either contradictive of another scene or just doesn't make sense. There are too many things that should have been picked up on during proof-viewing.

It tries to be one of those films that puts a set of people in a predicament that you don't think could get any worse or more complicated, but things do, keeping the tension mounting. However, in this instance the only things that get worse are the script and the directing , and what starts off as a reasonably tense situation just turns into slapstick.

I've seen dreadful films before, but this one is just annoying, is like a typical american teen horror film with an intent of crime thriller gone terribly bad!!! absolute rubbish. sureal, bad acting, ridiculous plot and simply a really pathetic film to watch...awful..... if you thinking of watching it ... good luck a waste of time...couldn't pass the 20th minute

Wasn't sure what to expect. The film is incredible one of the best I have ever seen. Awesome story, superb acting, and its well directed. Its hard to see how someone would fail to like this film. Watch this and you won't be disappointed! If still unsure give it 6 mins and you'l be hooked from there on.
