When clueless homosexual fashionista Bruno, the presenter of Funkyzeit (the most popular fashion programme in every German-speaking country apart from Germany), is effectively banned from Europe following a disastrous incident at a show, he sets his sights on America. With his former assistant's assistant, Lutz, as his only ally, the fashionmonger tries to conquer the US as only he knows how - as tastelessly as possible! this looks better than borat
Went to see this at the cinema, and after watching Borat (which I thought was excellent), this really did not live up to it at all, I was quite disappointed. There are some funny bits - and it's still really hard to believe that people think this character is real when he meets people - Sasha certainly has some front and puts himself in quite dangerous situations! But overall not too impressive.
Sacha Baron Cohen is facing a £70 million lawsuit over his controversial movie Bruno.
