Sacha Baron Cohen is facing a £70 million lawsuit over his controversial movie Bruno. Palestinian grocer Ayman Abu Aita has filed suit against the funnyman after a caption in the film described him as "Terrorist group leader, Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade." Members of the public who had their lawsuit against Borat producers thrown out of court have launched an official appeal. British funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen and executives at 20th Century Fox have been hit with a number of lawsuits from people who allege they were manipulated into participating in the 2006 comedy film. Movie bosses cut scenes of a confused Latoya Jackson from Sacha Baron Cohen's new comedy Bruno at the film's Los Angeles premiere on Thursday night (25Jun09) out of respect for her late brother.
