When writeing this review just after seeing the film I still dont know what too think really. The only words come too my head are 'WTF', because thats all I can think when watching this movie.
I loved all his previous movies and still do but I dont know he's a hard man too understand how he plays the part so well and yet you think he's gay but you know he's not...I think.
Dont expect serious funny in this movie its all slapstick and over the top are carn't belive I just saw that.

By a customer , 14 Jan 2013Big fan of Baron Cohen, but I had to turn off. Just avoid this film. I've liked everything before this, and what he has done since, but it's like a really weak version of Borat. The kind of material that is funny in an ironic way due to perhaps the 'ignorance' of the people involved in his other works just doesn't exist in Bruno - it's beyond slapstick. Give it a chance, you might find it funny, but the chances are you'll be as disappointed as I was.- Was this review helpful to you?

Dont even bother..Postage time is more interesting than this...

To start with its painfully dull then it just becomes the worst movie ever made..EVER!!
I have enjoyed Sasha baron cohens other movies as stupid as they are but Bruno is just boring and when it isnt being boring its just vomit inducing due to its pathetic attempts at humour and graphic scenes of Sasha's privates which I really didnt want to see.
My advice, you'll get more pleasure from watching paint dry because this film is just about the worst thing I have EVER seen!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Vile and disgusting

Soft Gay Porn
By a customer , 10 Sep 2012The film had an occasional moment where Cohen returned to the kind of form I was expecting from Borat. However these moments were too few and in between those moments was a lacklustre and uninteresting film about a talentless Austrian fashion presenter.
His sexuality is a strong theme and at times is fairly unnecessarily in your face and unnerving.
