[Highly rated reviewer]I saw this in the USA recently (August 2011) and want to see it again. This is a brilliant film about someone who knows how to train horses and who has overcome early adversities with grace. Rent it!

Truly inspiringBy a customer , 03 Oct 2013This film will probably only appeal to horse lovers and owners like me, which is pity, Buck could so easily have become as cruel and abusive as his father, but he chose a different way, and the response he gets from horses and humans alike says it all. Watch it, even if horses aren't your 'thing'. You'll be glad you did.
Courageous man touches lives, both human and animal..By Scarletz (1 review) , 13 Sep 2013Life changing... i have a lovely warm feeling after watching this touching film, Damage can be stopped it doesn't need passing on.... be horse or human ... inspirational.. Powerful and emotive, an insight into training horses yes.. but also proof that abuse doesn't have to ruin your life.. Buck had an awful childhood, but has turned into a positive human who helps both horses and people... enjoy it... it will touch your heart..
Amazing filmBy a customer , 18 Aug 2013I am just blow away with what this man can do with horses. A beautiful film and a must see for all horse lovers.
Natural horsemanship at its bestBy PVCPoodle (63 reviews) , 22 Jul 2013This is for you if you are a open minded horse person - and understand the basics of more naturalistic methods. Interesting but saddening at the same time to see the alarmingly predatory stallion, and more alarming that the owner had raised him in her home indoors - and had not considered the wider reaching consequences for the animal when it matured. Worth a watch.
Beautiful BuckBy trayzeestaff (30 reviews) from Cornwall, England , 12 Jun 2013I never watch documentary's, but for some reason i gave this a one a chance and im so glad i did!
