If you like 'life on mars' and are into the feel of the early seventies, then you won't go far wrong renting this. I may be biased but this series is fantastic. Dated, yes but in a good way. It's got the charm of the early seventies with great acting from Adam Faith and Ian Cuthbertson. Start with series 1 though. Enjoy.
