Most fans I've spoken to have said that this is their favourite season of Buffy, and I've got to say that in some ways I definitely agree with them. If you haven't seen it yet, I envy you ... you've got a real treat in store.
We rejoin Buffy and her friends in a new year at Sunnydale high, which also brings some new arrivals to town ... a blonde-haired british vampire called Spike and his girlfriend Drusilla. As the scoobies face these deadly new foes, the series explores the romantic relationships between most of the scoobies and other new characters. The Buffy/Angel relationship goes much further and is really pushed to it's limits here.
I'm trying not to give too much away because this season has lots of great surprises in store, and plenty of brilliant episodes. Enjoy!
Buffy Season 2 is really where it all begins. Everyone who has ever been a teen should see this TV series.
In Season 1 it is all a bit hammy... feels a bit like a vamp movie stretched out.
In this season, with the scope of 22 episode, all of the feelings and experiences of the teenage years are delved into deeply.
How those friendships develop, the crushes, losing you virginity, finding out what boys are really all about, the bands to listen to... oh and if you are Buffy how to slay - a lot!
If you don't do si-fi dont do vamps and think Buffy is just silly and you've seen a couple of episodes or season 1 and you got nothing from it - GET this DVD NOW! I promise you it can convert anyone into a fan of the best TV my generation has produced so far.
