Most fans I've spoken to have said that this is their favourite season of Buffy, and I've got to say that in some ways I definitely agree with them. If you haven't seen it yet, I envy you ... you've got a real treat in store.

We rejoin Buffy and her friends in a new year at Sunnydale high, which also brings some new arrivals to town ... a blonde-haired british vampire called Spike and his girlfriend Drusilla. As the scoobies face these deadly new foes, the series explores the romantic relationships between most of the scoobies and other new characters. The Buffy/Angel relationship goes much further and is really pushed to it's limits here.

I'm trying not to give too much away because this season has lots of great surprises in store, and plenty of brilliant episodes. Enjoy!

This is a amusing, action series with lots of tongue in cheek humor. A nice continuation from the first season.

The main characters lives become more complicated and other characters are introduced.

The juggling of life at high school with vampire slaying is well written and always funny.

    Relaxing and amusing to watch.

SMG's back for more demon killing mayhem in series two.

Much bigger in scale than the first series, the Big Bad gets badder the laughs get louder and the heart strings get tugged even harder.

The Buffy and Angel story develops apace in this series as we see our heroine's crazy lovelife get a little more complicated.

Characters such as Cordelia and Jenny Calendar become much more interesting as they develop closer relationships with certain other Scooby regulars.

The best thing about this series though is without doubt the introduction of Spike. He arrives in Sunnydale accompanied by his insane vamp girlfriend Drusilla and basically goes on to steal the show whenever he's on screen.

The funniest scene by miles is during the season finale when he reminds Joyce Summers of their previous meeting when she hit him with an axe, 'Get the hell away from my daughter!'.

Funny, sad, exciting, this season has everything, buff said!
