If you like the 'Black & white' oldies, this will give you a good evenings viewing.
Having watched all three of the DVDs, our reactions are mixed. The films certainly have the olde-worlde charm, that those of us who rent out B&W films want, but this series has one bad flaw - the video quality is very, very poor.
Yes I know that the films are very old, but I have seen many from that period - 30's & 40's - where the quality is far, far superior. A shame really, as the films themselves are quite ghood. Worth watching if you can allow for the poor vid quality.
