The trouble with trying to display madness on the screen is that writers come up with some scenic but not believable and that mars this film.
What has happened to Bunny, has she run off ? been kidnapped ? or does she even exist ?
The plot revolves around all sorts of coincidences as these films must but it passes the time fairly well and Olivier adds a little depth to the Inspector on the case.
