Promised a lot but didn't deliverBy a customer , 01 Jul 2012This was supposed to be a comedy but the actors were not really comedy actors, except for the occasional flash of inspiration from Brad Pitt. The endings did have me wondering whether it was intended to be a comedy after all or should have been taken more seriously because the endings were rather dark.
Not a comedyBy a customer , 19 Jun 2012This was supposed to be a comedy. Well, who said so?
This was boring in extremis with no plot, no laughter, no story, no acting, a supposedly high class cast list but they must have been in it for the money or supposed kudos from the Coen brothers.
The closest I can say about this film is that the storyline is more akin to a Brian Rix farce than anything else, which is probably the point of it all, but at least Brian Rix's farces have some funny moments in them
pointless story BUT worth a lookBy a customer , 11 Jun 2012Completely pointless, no real storyline BUT funny, intriguing and left me having to know how it ended. Brad plays a really funny part and as pointless as I found the film I could not switch it off. I think it is worth a look atleast!!!
burn after watchingBy a customer , 04 Jun 2012I had high hopes for this star studded film, however i switched off after 45 mins, I didnt find it funny, quite boring and the storyline in pointless, brad pitt doesnt suit that character.
burn before watchingBy a customer , 30 May 2012BORING, stupid plot, boringly executed. Strange to have so many great actors involved and yet they could not give it pizaz.
It must have been the editing and the music that dulled it down.
