Better characterisation than most
By Dave K from Birmingham, UK , 24 Feb 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
As an adult, I find some of these Manga series a bit too infantile to be able to enjoy them. I enjoyed Burst Angel Vol.1 reasonably, so I added vol.2 to my rental list and was pleasantly surprised when I watched it. Vol.2 is much less superficial as the characterisation is given much more weight. I actually felt that I was beginning to know the characters. Vol.1 is just about big robots and female flesh. Vol.2 is more about character and story development. I'll be interested to see what vol.3 has in store.- Was this review helpful to you?

(3)A big improvement on Vol 1
By a customer from Barnet , 12 Sep 2009The first part was one of the poorer animes I've seen, but here we get something more akin to genuine characters and a coherent story. After the first volume, I thought I'd give this one a look, and, if it was no better, forget the rest of the series. But now I'll take a look at the next disc and see how things go.- Was this review helpful to you?

Cartoonish
By Joseph De-Ville from Liskeard, England , 19 Apr 2006I am sorry to say I was very disappointed to find out this find was a cartoon, I only watch the first part. If I knew that it was a cartoon I would not have order it. I gave it one star it should be minus one.- Was this review helpful to you?
