Nostalgia

Great to see Anglia TV's Bygones. Dick Joice was always a lovely man, always willing to chat if you met him. Died in 1999, greatly missed. This dvd is especially poignant as it has chats with Benny Read of the Caister lifeboat who was sadly to lose his life when a maroon exploded. As an ex Norfolk man, I find the accents difficult to understand now - wish they had subtitles for the broad Norfolk! Oh and memories of going on the Townsend Thoresen ferry from Felixstowe too!
