EXCELLENT veiwing, in a class of it's own
By a customer from Rotherham , 13 Dec 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Csi new york goes from strengh to strengh and has become a unique crime drama in it's own right rather than a spin off from the original c.s.i.
set post 9/11 in new york, it is darker than its previous c.s.i and c.s.si miami, and in the first series i struggled to love it as much.
But the more you watch it and see the different style of mac's leadership, the more you understand that it did not need the CSI franchise title to have something unique in the way it is presented.
Series 3 to me is the best yet, more gritty and personal, latter in the series mac find out that his actions in a previous episode trying to catch a 'bent copper' has serious concequenses when a serial killer goes on a killing rampage.
SO JUST NOTE YOU NEED DISCS IN ORDER to follow the story line (rent part 1 first)
You will not be disapoionted with this series, roll on series 4- Was this review helpful to you?

Customer Review
By a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008Up to recently i did not really like csi new york and only watched it out of loyalty. This Season 3 is the best yet and now New York is the best. i hired this but will be buying it. it does inc a Csi being framed, some drug bust breaking into the lab, and some personal issues.- Was this review helpful to you?
