Have to say this COD was very dissapointing this time round.

Its the same old thing and if you want to use the extra features you have to pay an extra £35 a year subscription!

Also can only do 2 players on multiplayer special ops wheras on zombies you get 4 players.

Dont get me wrong its a great game but just feels like ive played it all before!

Battlefield may be the one this year!

  • Doesn't hold a candle to Call of Duty 4, but what does nowadays?

This InfinityWard release really had me glad I didn't buy it. Modern Warfare 3 passes a few hours where the campaign is concerned, and that fun can be amplified with the Spec Ops bonus missions. However, it really doesn't feel like they've actually *done* anything new. Yes, there are new guns. Yes, there are new single player characters and new perks, kill streak bonuses (etc), but is that really what makes a game good?

The campaign has become more and more cinematic as the years have progressed; ever since World at War I feel that the franchise has been on a downward slide. Multiplayer seems more and more suited to the 12-year-old gamer, attracted to flashy effects and new guns.

Given that this is a well-received game, it is safe to say that the vast majority of Modern Warfare 3 players are significantly under the target age (18-years).

It'll give you an afternoon of fun, but don't expect much else.

It's basically more of the same when it comes to COD games same old arcade style graphics, Yes the story has a alright plot but the overall gameplay isn't great, the multiplayer is just a rehash of mw2 with new maps it really is starting to get boring, I know COD fans won't like this review and will likely thumbs down but this is my honest view considering the hype these games get they rarely deliver.

If you like to defeat other players but do not care how you do it then this game is for you. A monkey hitting a controller can kill a pro on this game, it's garbage that gets worse the more you play it. This trash attracts and rewards bad play. The secret to a good game of cod mw3 is to camp in a corner, use a sniper, never aim down your scope for more than a second and be desperate to be good at something.

    The story is ok.
