Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

My son loved this game. Great gameplay with COD at its best. Great graphics too. My son is now going to buy the full game after renting this out.

WW2 shooters have been done to death, so the Modern Warfare series is a similar experience but a refreshing take on the war theme. The campaign only takes around 6 hours but is enjoyable throughout due to being full of action packed events. It is extremely well scripted with plenty of enemies to shoot, and you are constantly greeted with a barrage of bullets and explosions occurring in close proximity which helps to keep the action intense. The graphics are brilliant too and you will visit many locales from around the world, all full with detailed scenery. Personally, I found it hard to know who was on my side, but a general rule is, 'if they ain't close by, they probably aren't on your side', although it's not the perfect strategy. Your team-mates do help gun down a lot of the enemies but you do need to pull your weight, especially on the higher difficulties. If you do take a few bullets, keeping a low profile for a few seconds will regenerate your health, and being gunned down will take you back to the last check-point. In addition to the campaign, the Special Ops mode has a series of local and multiplayer options which have short themed missions, or survival mode. I'm don't play a lot of first-person-shooters, but Modern Warfare 3's single player campaign was very impressive while it lasted.

Just what you would expect from CoD. Not that bad and fun to play in MP, but definitely the weakest one of CoD titles ever. Rent it only because of MP

Same S!!t, different package Good enough, but not even trying any new ideas. Will give you what you want from a shooter, but no more than that..... Needs Rebooting The Franchise

I enjoyed the story mode but don't bother playing online, camping,quick shot etc... BF3 is the best online shooter about.
