(4)It's alright
By pyromantis (99 reviews) from Nottingham , 17 Sep 2010While it's atmosphere and tense nature is something many modern games are lacking, it forces you to be stealthy for the first 5 hours of the game. It gives you a terrible stealth system, psychic enemies and no combat ability to do this with. Basically, it's great until it sucks.- Was this review helpful to you?

Slightly frustrating
By Danja (5 reviews) from Tewkesbury , 23 Mar 2010Although in many aspects a very polished production, it is so dark that it's nigh on impossible to make anything out. Even with the in-game brightness and my TV's brightness whacked up to full, I could barely make out half of the environments you're meant to explore. There is a line between murkiness that is stylistic and that which is just game-breakingly annoying and Dark Corners of the Earth manages to err onto the wrong side of the line.- Was this review helpful to you?

Spooky !!
By Carl Dobson from In a Cave , 17 Aug 2006Only at the begining of what looks to be a huge game. Its Dark its Eary, makes you think - some parts of the game are very hard, make sure you pay attention - this is no kick the door down, shoot everyone, ask questions later...- Was this review helpful to you?
