Best of the launch titles
By KingLoftiVII (20 reviews) from london , 15 Mar 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
Call of Duty 2 was by far and away the best of the 360's launch titles, next generation graphics and incredible gameplay (coupled with some really fierce computer AI) make this a must have/rent for the new console owners.
The only let down which had me banging my teeth on a kerb was the lack of coop play in the campaign mode. If you're not Live enabled and want a game you can play for hours with the lads and a few beers....look away now.
Extraordianry 1 player game though.- Was this review helpful to you?

And it begins
By Steven69 (4 reviews) from Sevenoaks , 02 Jan 2012This is what started the fantasic franchise of games today with mw3 and black ops , it was the games that imspired game producers to start creating more fun and amazing games.Reccomended to users who want easy gamerscore as you only need to do the campaign on veteran .Overall good game with good story-line.- Was this review helpful to you?

A Decent Classic
By NewtonBomb (6 reviews) from Seaham , 26 Apr 2011I played through on Veteran for an easy 1000G. The game was quite enjoyable most of the time. Although I found some missions annoying and frustrating. A decent rent for any call of duty fan or achievement collector, easy to 100% just take your time.- Was this review helpful to you?

A great rent
By Wrathsputin (2 reviews) from Prestwick , 28 Feb 2011The Call of Duty series is the biggest int he industry at the moment and it's great to see what the games used to be like.
It's your typical World War II affair, your British, American and Russian campaigns, all with different settings and weapons so the game is varied enough to keep you playing.
The graphics are nice with some good particle effects in the smoke and the guns looks and sound realistic.
The multiplayer is standard for the time and nothing particularly special but you will find some enjoyment in it, but beware; it is nothing like newer CoD games with killstreaks, perks, XP, etc.
That's how I would sum up this game, it's different to newer CoD games and can be quite jarring at first to play the game and feel the difference between this and Black Ops or other newer games.
It is a very good and challenging game that is sure to keep you occupied during it's reasonable 6-8 hour long single player.
