Light hearted ' Who Done It?'

Although originally screened in 1989, Campion has not lost it's charm and is still very watchable, in fact it has not 'aged'. You don't need too much concentration, (which is good, if you're like me and sometimes find it hard to follow programmes like this).

Campion's side-kick, Lug, is brilliant and the combination of Campion, (the well to do gentlemen) and Lug, (the down to earth, say what he feels valet), is quite entertaining. This particular episode has a twist at the end, so you may think you've got it sussed but find that you have been misled. What has happened?, watch it and see.

---You know, I think Lug should be introduced to Jeeves, (from Jeeves and Wooster). If a program was made with these two, the detective work would be a doddle, but a very comical doddle, with a bit of seriousness here and there!

    Entertaining

No film can compare with the excellence of Allingham's writing, but the series is well produced and directed. Unfortunately the character of Lugg is undeveloped.
