    Plater Delivers

    Adapted by top screenwriter Alan Plater, this first two-part Campion mystery is perhaps the best of the eight that were made.

    Crammed with sparkling dialogue and witty banter, the cast, especially Davison and Glover, are clearly having a ball and this translates into a hugely enjoyable romp.

    Davison is a perfect Campion, making the role his from the very first frame. In short, enormous fun, brilliantly adapted and sparklingly performed. Top stuff.
